Fellowship available in the NICU at Paris Saclay University Hospitals!
The Division of Pediatrics and Neonatal Resuscitation of Paris Saclay University Hospitals, "A. Beclere" Hospital offers 2 fellowships (Assistants Spécialistes) positions. The positions are as follows:
- One in the Specialised Pediatric/neonatal Transportation Unit, with the possibility of taking shifts in the NICU and maternity unit as well if desired, from November 2020 for a renewable period of one / two years.
- One in the Intermediate care/maternity Unit or in the NICU with shifts in both units. The position is available from April/Mai 2020 for a renewable period of 6 months or one / two years.
These are full-time positions and they include also full professional and healthcare insurance coverage. Parisian subway is also partially (50%) by the hospital administration. The hospital served by the Parisian subway network. Possibility to have housing at low price for the first months.
A specialty board certification (Pediatrics or critical care or neonatology) issued by an EU University and EU citizenship are required. Proficiency in French (B2 level) is also needed.
The Division is a level III structure that provides around 4000 deliveries per year, with majority of high-risk pregnancies, modern equipment (CVVH and neonatal dialysis, NAVA, Cardiometry, nasal OHF, NIRS, hypothermia, multimodal monitoring etc.). Transportation units are fully equipped mobile NICUs. 28 NICU beds and 10 intermediate care beds and around 1,700 high risk transports / year. The Division is an academic center with 6 residents / semester + 1 senior residents, and many undergraduate medical and midwifery students. During nightshift 3 fellows are on site and a senior attending is always available on call. Very pleasant atmosphere and dynamic team with a lot of international research and collaboration in progress (very active within the ESPNIC). The team is truly international and multicultural with colleagues coming from all over the world.
